problem with touch screen

i am having a problem with my touch screen, is there a way to recalibrate. my issue is that when i put in an address the letters i hit are one above the one i try to type, this is also true for the back button, rather than move back i get the character above, even when i use a toothpick or something elkse that is small

 

any ideas

sometimes hard reset will work, or....

if you have fresh backup, just restore it..
