What does the "Simon" voice say before announcing a nearby POI, like a gas station?

We're using the Simon voice and have set up our Tomtom to announce gas stations and rest areas. Each time we see one, it says something like "Gas station [unintelligible] 0.4 miles ahead, next opportunity 1 mile ahead."

Does anyone know what the unintelligible word is between the POI and the distance?

I was using Simon for a little while but switched back to Susan because there were more problems with pronunciation. Don't know what the answer to your question is, but I think Simon is better suited to UK maps.

On my 530 [UK map], Simon says, 'Petrol station 300yards, next opportunity x.x miles'.

It says something between "gas station" and the distance. The word sounds like "north" or "naught."

It's not "north," because it says the same word even if we're headed west, east or south.

If I use Susan, she says 'petrol station nought point 2 miles' or whatever the distance, but decimal miles.

It does say "naught!"

"Naught point nine" is British Eglish for "zero point nine."
