Just upgraded a laptop to RTM of Windows 8, installed TomTom Home which now appears to be called MyTomTom, and it doesn't work.
Tried the usual run with admin rights, run with various compatability settings, still doesn't work. I guess they've got a month before the office customer release of Windows 8, but would be interested to know if any one has made it work or if the TomTom ppeople have a work around.
EDIT: Apparently I can't use Go, have to use Home, which I can't find on the TomTom site. Any ideas?
EDIT2: Always happens. Found Home2 eventually as a link under the Go download. Here's the direct link:

MyTomTom is not used with XL. You need to download the latest version of TomTom Home2

Try running Home in XP compatible mode.

Problem is solved. With Advanced Uninstaller Pro 11 I removed TomTom2 home from my computer included all the registerkeys from TomTom2 Home in the register.
Then I reinstalled with TomTomHOME2winlatest and yes, that install was succesfull and updated my TomTom device.
End good, all good.
