My TomTom Via 180 is not turning on after being turned off a few hours ago. It will not even turn on after charging for a few hours. It was purchased yesterday and has been fully charged and used for at most half an hour.

I received my TomTom GO 730 in the mail today. I charged it for hours and it won't start. I pressed reset, I held the on/off button for up to a minute waiting for something to happen, and I hooked it up to my computer....nothing.

Go to the main support page and look at the bottom right of the page. Select the phone and get the phone number for your country. You need to talk to them before returning the unit. They need to know if the unit is under warranty or not, and they need to assign you a RMA number for tracking purposes.

BTW if you purchased it from a local store, amazon or somewhere other then direct from TomTom you may be better off returning it to them for exchange.
