Keep the device connected to the PC overnight (switch off the screen of the PC and make sure it doesn't go to standby or shut down). Then in the morning, press the reset button via the hole and the ON button together for around a minute. If it doesn't switch on, have a listen around the switch. If you can't hear a click when you press it, then the ON button is faulty. If you hear the click, but doesn't switch on, the soldering of the ON button might be loose or the battery dead or disconnected.

ok but f the battery was dead or disconnected would the light still come on ??? my light is on when i plug it into the wall or pc ...i could hear a click of the on button as well
