Memory Card Update & connection to TOmTOm Home

I have two questions....
Everytime I turn on my TOmTOm One XL it opened the TOmTom Home page and then straight away it says "TomTom Home page has stopped working" so I cannot connect to the site therefore I cannot do anything to update etc. What can I do?

2) Three days ago I spent $99.00 on a map upgrade. When I tried to install it I was told I did not have enough memory. I thought I would upgrade my memory card but I am not sure what thge cpapcity of the current card is and what size my new card should be to accomodate the new upgrade of maps of Australia.
Can you please help me with both problems?

Do you have an SD card slot on your XL at all? The internal one you can't upgrade, just if you have a removable one. As of the HOME, try to uninstall and re-install it.
