Re: Could not delete "E:\ttgo.bif"

You could try using Explorer (or Finder if on a Mac) and delete the file that way.

Re: Could not delete "E:\ttgo.bif"

It says 'cannot delete:'access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use.' Any ideas?

Reboot the computer and try deleting it again.

Re: Could not delete "E:\ttgo.bif"

Same problem, can't get past trying to delete ttgo.bif on my xl 30.   tried every way to delete it or rename it but it just keeps on coming back. Is there a way of removing any of the software on the unit so that the updates will install?

Re: Could not delete "E:\ttgo.bif"

The first thing you need to do is to create a backup of your gps if you have not already done so. Here is link for that.

Second, try using "disk check" to see if that will correct the problem. Here is a link for the procedure.

If you are still having the problem let us know. You may have to format the memory and reinstall the software and map to your gps.

Disable your Internet security suit as some will prevent data change via USB connections.
