Been using the car kit and tomtom app since release and recently upgraded to a 4s. Using the plastic adapter it charges but isnt detected via bluetooth. My actual concern is that the app works fine until i dock it in the car kit, it loses a signal entirely as if theres a signal conflict or something. i take it out of the dock and it picks up the signal again. Any ideas?
Also got a 4S and with my 2 car kits, one was working one not. Found that with experimentation, adjusting the spacer thickness made it work again. Used paper or foil to get the right thickness, cut and glue. I guess there's a minute difference between 4 and 4S that affects the contacts. Now the car kit is discontinued, do all you can to look after it!
