Hi,
I'm running TomTom v1.8 on a 3GS and for some reason every time I try and re-subscribe to HD traffic I get the error message "This item is currently being modified. Please try again later.". It's infuriating and I can't seem to put it right.
Any suggestions?

I have the exactly the same problem and would also like to know what is wrong!

Same here I'm afraid. Decided to bite the bullet and buy TomTom for the iPhone as I knew the roads would be bad for the commute home today, only to find that I can't 'buy' a month of HD traffic. Same error as above... What are they doing that needs so long to modify?
PLEASE sort this out tomtom / appstore.

I have the exact same problem. I called TomTom support today and they did not even know the iPhone provided HD Traffic. After talking to supervisors it was concluded I wait a day. I have continued to try it and the same message comes up so I will be calling again. I payed for the app for one reason alone and that was for the HD Traffic specifically. Without it TomTom's best route will gladly send me into construction and rush hour traffic without me knowing, rendernig IQ routes brainless. TomTom is by far the best navigation system there is which is why I payed this much for it, but it's only good when it's usable. Please fix this soon and contact me when the problems solved if you can. Thank you.

I purchased TomTom 2 weeks ago. Today I wanted to purchase a 1 month subscription for HD Traffic as I now need it.
After entering my Apple ID, I get the pop-up "An diesem Artikel werden derzeit Änderungen vorgenommen. Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut" (in Englisch "This article is currently being modified. Please try again later").
Argh, what's going wrong???

Working fine for me too now. In the end I deleted TomTom from my Iphone then reinstalled it when I next synced with iTunes. Not sure if that fixed it or if TomTom / Apple did something but it's working so I'm happy.. ish. Still had no traffic for my weekend away in the summer holiday traffic.

which made me aware when the in app purchase became possible again. I didn't change anything, just tried again. Works fine.
