A lot of people already using Appradio from Pioneer. I doubt TomTom would work with them soon.

Hi TomTom,

I have the same question - I would prefer paying for a TomTom update of the iPhone that supports the external display of the Pioneer Appradio rathern than buying a more up to date competitor.

One of the problems of companies like TomTom is how to get repeat business out of customers - which is hard when you make good products that last! Now here is an opportunity to upsell the "second screen" for TomTom iPhone users.

Please publish a product roadmap (pun intended ;-) so your customers can decide to hold out competitive purchases.

Me too, I'm about to buy the Appradio2 and was thinking of switching from TomTom to Pioneer's version, but I do love TomTom, so I would certainly continue using it.

I support the need for urgent compatibility with the pioneer advanced app system too.

People who buy these Pioneer systems already make a conscious choice to enhance the interiors of their vehicles and i guess dont really want a car kit hanging off the windscreen or dash.

TOMTOM has so many value added services to add compared to the free alternatives so I would encourage them not to lose ground and but into this tech.

To all reading this thread I wrote to TomTom and they tell me they have passed this to their product managers. The only way this will get moved on their production schedule is by showing there is a need. Please contact TomTom to let them know if you want this feature if you are interested. Thanks Phil

I'm considering getting a Pioneer AppRadio and would love to be able to use the TomTom software through the app screen. It's the only SatNav software I have, and I don't want to have to swap to a competitiors app.

I've been searching to see if I can find out if the TomTom app works at all when the iPhone is connected to an AppRadio, but can't find anything yet.
