Right to free version update(s)?

I want to purchase the TomTom with Traffic services for the iPhone.

The current version (1.10) though, has been received with quite some bad critics according to the reviews in the App store.

I wanted to wait for the next update, but by now I could really use the app.

Therefor it's very important for me to know if I would buy the current 1.10, if I could update to the upcoming version free of charge.

I did find that I can get free map updates in the description on your website, but it doesn't tell me anything about product updates.

Currently the TT App and Map upgrades are free of charge as the Map is bundled in with the App.
