Works well on my iPad but dumped the old version off my iPhone 3GS and will not install. How do I get the old version back on the iPhone but keep the new version on the iPad?

I've got a iPhone 3GS and downloaded the v1.10 and now the app won't sync and the old version removed from my iPhone. How do I get the old version back?

[edit 21:40 Uk time] On TomTom Western Europe app iTunes page it indicates the app is compatible with the 3GS

[edit 22:00] Weird, did a reset warnings to see what the error was (I had ticked the 'Don't show me again' box in the sync error dialog ages ago) and then sync'd again and it worked... I did have less 1GB left on my iPhone with the old app installed and 2.6GB left after the old app had been removed, but the app is 1.78GB, so there was plenty of space left. Hmmm.

I can't believe you guys changed the best app icon in the app store. Please change it back to what it was. The new icon is boring and just blends in with all the other app icons out there. Instead of the Tom Tom app being easy to spot and select now it gets lost. When I was driving all I had to do was tell my wife to look for the icon with the two red hands - now she will never find it!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! Who's stupid idea was it to change it?

App update is great and much appreciated.

I agree as above that, as silly as it may sound, I too would really want the old simple icon back! Hate the new one!

I'm having a terrible time with this update.  First the iPhone suggests an update for the TomTom USA navigator, but then will not do the update saying "there is not enough room on the iphone". (I have 5gb of free space).

When trying to update on iTunes it says that it will be a 5 hour update.  After 3 tries, the computer has shut down all 3 times before the update has completed.

Something is very, very wrong here....

Was a very expensive App to buy and I also brought the Handsfree Car Kit too

After this update -

- Are Speed Cameras (Safety Cameras) that was free in New Zealand now a Paid service?

- I'm not impressed that I have to enable 'Information Sharing' for everything, just to allow the 'Map Share' function to work

I had a read of the 'Information Sharing' section and appears that TomTom wants to become the next "Big Brother" by snooping in on what you are doing?

What's next Tomtom, paid for POI's and Map updates?

What is this for a disastrous "update"? The most boring Tomtom badge that someone could think of competition winner? Blanket "I give up my privacy" switch? Oh, and the best upgrade is not being able to navigate to addresses in the town that I'm presently in without the app crashing!!!! You don't even get the choice of rolling back to the older "working" version!
I'm totally unhappy with the crashing...... Unlike the bland icon......
And am not entirely happy about being forced to throw ALL my info around the net!
A good program has turned useless, but hopefully it's teething problems and will be rectified very, very soon.

After fiddling about for a while I've found that the App only crashes when I search for a street name to navigate to that begins with the letter "H". I tried changing my home address as that starts with the same letter (to a street that started with "Z", but it still crashed on a search for "H".
