I want to copy my "favourites" (dt. Favoriten) from one sd-card (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) to another one (Western Europe) but when I connect my Rider to the computer and browse in the Explorer I can't find the file. Does it have another name than "favourites" or is it hidden in a folder, in which?
Thanks for you help

Favs are stored in the file mapsettings.cfg (inside the map drawer).

Better idea is to set up a new category of POI file and save your favorites as Poi's easy to change/duplicate between machines and you can have them displayed on your map.
I use This method for customer locations helps remind me of others in an area when I am visiting someone, then I can drop in and say hi.

Thanks for you answer. It's an interesting idea. But how do you go about it? How do I access my favourites, one by one or all of them i.e. the whole file? And then how do I make a favourite become a poi?

Hi
Not sure as there is an easy way. I find a program called tyre very useful it uses Googlemaps you can plan an itinery or mark pois and save them. But I dont know of an easy way you can pull the data from your favs file.

Thanks everybody for your input. I've now found out myself how to do it:
First you go to "manage your poi" (or whatever it is called in English).
There you create a new category of poi, eg. "favourites" and give them a symbol.
Then you create a new poi in that category and pick an "old" favourite.
Having done that with all your old favourites you can copy two files called "favourites" and "favourites.ov2" to your computer and later from there to the other sd-card or tomtom device.
Hoping to help others with this
