When, oh when, are the tomtom people going to dump the current peice of **bleep** Rider and bring out a new sat nav??
Rider 1...... Hmm.. not bad but a few problems.. Along comes Zumo550.. WOW !!!
Rider 2 .. Better, but too small still...
Next... Tomtom, paint it black in the hope we wont recognise this aging relic from the last 5 years !!
come on....
what the hell's the matter with you guys !!!

Good point but I'd be happy if they got the one I spent a shed load of money on a few years back going properly.
Having bought (yes bought) the latest European map I'm expected to put up with zoning it if I want my Rider2 to work properly on a 2Gig SD?? card. NO! update the firmware to support 4GB
I've tried the work-around on having the Favourites file erased on each and every map update. Having to use Points-of-Interests (POI) sucks big time. Clearly the numpties that are holding up a proper fix on this one can't be having to use POIs. Actually, my TT ONE-3 doesn't allow on-device management of POIs. Dumb or what?
The different sub-menus don't follow the same conventions. The [DONE] button function is located on the right... no it's on the left of screen. On some menus you get to exit back up a layer, others exit back the the navigation screen.
A feature I'd kill for is a fast BT-headset re-connect feature for when my mate asks me "Are we there yet" via his non-Scala G4 to my Scala G4 intercom when stop/starting in heavy traffic. Having this at the far end of the preference menu is difficult.
ANd there's loads more little niggles suggesting no one there REALLY uses these things.

Im not sure a bigger screen would be that useful, on many bikes with limited locations to attach the device a bigger screen is more likley to obscure instruments etc. More use would be much more memory and a screen that is easier to see in bright light. Probably better bluetooth connection too.
