Exactly the same problem for me. I updated last night and now it is off by 300 yards west.
I have tried resetting it and drove for an hour and it did not correct itself! ![]()

I just saw that there is a new update:

I installed it but still had the problem so did a soft reset as recommended and I am back at home again!
Hopefully it will keep working.

How do you do a soft reset - I have only ever done the Factory reset button or the pin reset...

Restored pre-update and removed Quickfix then soft update... still not right ![]()

Pin reset is the same as a soft reset. See also here: http://www.tomtom.com/6965.

The misplacement on my Tom Tom One v3 was almost the same as the rotational distance of the Earth in one second. I do suspect that last saturday's leap second is causing this issue. My Tom Tom's UTC time was also off by one second. Todays QuickGPS fix update fixes the problem.

The new file does fix the issues with the faulty one that came over the weekend. Delete anything in the ephem folder on your unit. Use Explorer. Then, just to be sure, delete any sub-folders you see here on your computer:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\ephemeris
Then use home to dl the new file. Do a pin reset and things should be ok.

Hi,
I had exactly the same problem after an update, last Tuesday. Pity that I discovered the non working TOMTOM One New Edition, at the start of a long voyage to and fro France. Today I updated my One again and I did a soft reset (with a pin). Thereafter it worked normally and correctly.
