Hi - I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how I register my new TomTom online.
I had a TomTom One which I wish to replace with TomTom Start25 but when I try to go online with this I get the message that this is not the registered device and I should attach the registered device. EASIER SAID THAN DONE! I no longer have it! So what do I need to do? I don't want to invent another E-mail address for myself although I am sure this would work!!
I am totally frustrated! PLEASE can someone advise how I can get my new TomTom to be accepted online?

Yes - thanks - I already called them only to get the answer machine message that their opening hours were Monday to Friday. Looks like I'll have to wait until Monday and I SOooo wanted to have a play over the weekend!

Hi i just changed from a go 630 to a start 25 i found the best and easiest way was use a new mail address it worked perfectly to register the new tom tom. Also i deleted on the pc the old Tom Tom home as well, as when you register Tom Tom uploads a new one to your pc i hope this helps.

Hi, yes I had the same problem and it was easy to resolve in end. Whatu need to do is sign in to the original account for the tomtom you first had and then change the e-mail address, I made one up by just ommiting one letter from my e-mail address and this seemed to register as a valid address and then you can create a new account for your new device using your real e-mail address so u dont need to supply a different address. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum!
You do not need a new email adress, any login name in the correct email format will do (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org, be aware it is case sensitive). But then you won´t receive any notifications for your device.
Many providers offer to create an additional email adress and configure it as a redirection to your real adress. So you will be able to receive notifications with just one email account.
