The GPS Status shows me some satellites.
An update was completed one or two weeks ago to version 11.035.890538.74

I hope the bug will be fixed in the short term.
It is shameful that such things can happen for a leader in navigation technology.

"Hi all, Thank you for your patience and information. We're continuing to work on a solution and will monitor this and other threads related to the issue until it has been resolved. Thank you, Ditte"
I'm sure you mean well, but canned cut and paste responses saying the same thing aren't helping anyone, and to be honest "thanking us for our patience" just appears flippant and patronising.
You are losing more customers every second. Surely this level and severity of issue warrants somebody senior getting off their arse and putting out a proper statement, apologising and letting us know what's being done, what's been tried, what's been ruled out, etc?
When you have something to sell us you are happy to spam our devices directly and cover your front page. People judge companies on how they deal with problems - not how they do when things are ticking over - and so far, you are failing miserably.

I had the same problem yesterday. Did the soft reset and it did get it to work. Will try it out today. Seems to have corrected it.

For anyone..
My Via 120 will soon be out of 1yr warrenty..
if this prolongs.. does anyone one know how this will affect getting a replacment or the warrenty. I understand that it is a software issue but was just wondering.
Thanks

Thanks Kenneth for your reply.
Just came back after I left a note this morning, but it seems no relevant updates from you guys are available?
I can imagine that you are working your socks off, but you must have an idea after 6 hours looking into this...
And I am not interested in blaming anyone for this. What happened, happened, but I would like to know:
- Are you getting any closer in resolving this issue?
- Do you have an estimated resolution time/date?
At this day and age, I would have expected a more pro-active customer relation approach to a problem like this.
- What about at least picking up jodaius' request to display the information more prominently on the website?
Sorry to say this, but this is poor - quality and timely - communication!
Especially from a company which builds is business on supplying accurate and timely information...
You have to realise that some people do lose money by not being able to use their device.

I have a tomtom 1005 live. My GPS also does not work from saturday 31 March and a soft reset is needed. This fixes the problem until I turn off the devise, then I turn on and no GPS until I soft reset again. I have connected 1005 to my computer and updated the software, however, problem still exists.
