That's normal. No need to worry. In a couple of weeks, this message will be gone and you will be able to download the MapShare corrections.

When I update to the new maps my postcode/address search no longer works. I can only navigate from addresses in my favorites. I have restored back and all works ok. Have then re-loaded the new maps and have the same problem. Any ideas?

 Are you not able to plan a route by inputting the address or is it using a recent destination.

 I found that some recent address destinations had to be redone by putting city, street and number/cross st in .

 It produced error messages on some but not all.

I am unable to plan routes by inputting addresses. Recent addresses and my favorites still work. As soon as I go to input address my XL switches off and then goes back to the start up screen. Now I have restored back again all works fine

hi i had that issue on my old xl ,after the update the tomtom thought i was in argentina(no ive no idea aswell) i just changed it back to the uk flag and hey presto working tomtom

I have a 1005 live and had the map update within the 90 days. I purchased last November the 4 updated maps for a year. So far nothing.  Help please.
