I have the GO 700 and it is no longer recognized by TomTom. I am due one more map update (8.85) but I have not received it on download. It is virtually impossible to contact TomTom as they no longer accept emails, phone calls or incident reports. How can I get my map update????

Thanks for your advice Zslot.
The TomTom GO 700 is no longer recognised by TomTom. They say it is a legacy device, meaning it is out of date. They no longer support this model with email, phone or Customer support. So no way of contacting them. Discusting really.

Did you pay for a map update service and expect the last map? If this is the case, than I would say call them on the grounds of a sales issue, not a unit problem. That's one thing they don't support the product, but if you paid for the update service and you don't get it, they should refund part of it, or at least offer you a discount towards a new purchase. But this is just my point of view.

It is worth trying, isn't it? However 1/6th of a map update service is not much, but what if it happened after the 1st update, and you couldn't get 5 more.

I have a 2535 live and attempted to load the new map.
It will not load due to "Insufficient Memory" - during a few attempts, it asked if I wanted to replace my current map but that did nothing. Now it's not even asking that anymore.
I don't have anything added to my tomtom whatsoever, just map updates.

Put an 8GB micro SD card in, that should eliminate the problem. I believe you have SD slot on yours.
