the reason i thing is that there are not many customers of tomtom devices in there. thats why they dont care. ill be in Poland in april going from west do czestochowa and will see. pozdrowienia radku
Somehow in the "Eastern Bloc" the cheap navis offer better detailed maps. iGo for example is more accurate, however the look of the display is terrible. Tomtom missed a street in Hungary by a whole city (however the name was correct of the city and the street as well), whilst the tatty iGo found it no problem. A lot improved though, but there is much more to do there. In Poland I've got directed twice to terrible unpaved roads (had to chose it as the destination was on unpaved, but there were better choices). Good when you have local knowledge, but when you are there first...
(Hope they've fixed the missing MOTORWAY-like road in Warsaw that I experienced last year or so... The whole road was missing and I was floating in the air, according to TomTom).
Cast your mind back to a suggestion I made before the previous update ( I realise that you are a busy person but please bear with me ) my suggestion was that the full 7 digit/figure postcode for the UK be incorporated with each update and that would save us , the paying customers , messing about finding and installing the appropriate link .

Map updated to V885 but now TomTom Home said map has not been updated for more than 20 weeks Unfortunately MapShare map corrections are temporary not available. Anyone has similar problem?
