Hi everyone!

Season's greetings to all of you, your family and friends.

It's the time to be jolly and with that in mind we would like to invite you all to participate in the TomTom Discussions Season's Holidays Image Contest! 

We hope you will enjoy spending a little time creating a startup image for your TomTom navigation devices and share it with the fantastic community we have here.

Don't forget that you can win one year of Map Update Service for a map on your device!

We do have some rules in place that we appreciate if you will take into account before posting your image:

• You can create an upload as many images as you wish to enter.
• The image must be created by you. Copyrighted and non-family friendly material will be disqualified.
• Keep in mind that other users can download and use your image.
• Staff and other TomTom Employees can enter an image, but cannot win the prize.
• There is only one winner. If two or more images receive the same rating, the forum staff will decide on the winner.

Feel free to use this thread and the comment section for each image to praise and/or give constructive feedback to the artists.

We hope you will enjoy participating in this contest and we are eager to see your contributions.

What does the festive in there mean? Does this image need a reference to christmas as it is christmas season now or not? It would be nice if you could have another look at this statement.

The image doesn't strictly have to be "festive", but keeping it in the spirit of the holiday season would of course be nice

how do i know what size of image i have to use for my 1005?

If its not the right size, can i adjust it en how to do this?

The picture size is 480 x 272 pixels. Read the following article on how to change the size of a picture with Paint:

Hi Marc,

you'll need an image for a 5" screen. How large that has to be is described in the contest description.

I think that was 480x272px.
