[Note: This only applies for NAV2 devices (so not the new NAV3 TomTom models like the VIAs, START 20/25 and GO100x/GO82x which all use myTomTom instead of TomTom HOME)]
I found a way to transfer your own Map Share corrections to a different or new map. Many people always have to manually re-enter all their Map Share corrections when they update their map as not all Map Share corrections are properly transferred when a new map is installed. This is not necessary anymore. Below you can find the steps to accomplish this:

Good one Megalos. This is one aspect of MSR that would need some report as in "Your report is taken up in the current map" or similar then it could be cut from your list of data to be returned to unit - phew I wouldn't like to be a developer working on the MSR software
Edit:: I'm catching as many suggestions forMSR that arise in different posts;hjence colour difference to make it easier for me not to lose any :: Shorty.:

Agreed. Now since I'm learning too as we go, what about the new Nav3 devices that use My Tom Tom? I guess I should go and look it up for myself but an answer to that, here, will complete the Topic Question.

Let me try to hunt down an answer, worthy, on this question.

It's indeed not possible to use this method for the NAV3 devices, hence the bold red warning above the tutorial. This is mainly because you can't access the NAV3 devices using the Windows Explorer.

Thanks guys - I'll still ask the question even if it's just for my own education.

Hi Shorty, hi community,
I also would appreciate if this point would be atopic one, following this discussion silent from the background.

No need to start a new topic - I think this title is fine. When I have an explanation I'll post again.
