@MartinC: Just wanted to drop a quick note, the report had been accepted for this correction (ID: 04294462-e2dc-102f-a4c7-62c3ad176ad2). Not sure though if it will be in the next update or the one after.

Thanks for the update.  No change in navigation behaviour in Map v8.90, so I guess I'll have to be patient for another 3 months.

Have been patient, but unfortunately no change in Map v8.95.4441.  Please could somebody provide feedback on whether any change has been made?

Bump.

Can anybody shed any light on this... has a map correction referred to above been made, but not solved the problem (on the website or device)?  Could this be recified in the November(?) update?

I'm hoping that this particular navigation quirk will not prove to be permanent.

In the 895 it is still in. Hopefully the next update will include it.

Map v900.4603 installed and issue not resolved.

Has MSR abce5d20-cbef-102f-8665-e83f81ca73e1 submitted on 30/03/2012 been applied to the map?  If so, then it hasn't worked.  If not, then when will it be?

I have just found out....a section of road over the cattle grid that is mentioned earlier is marked as 'No Through Traffic"...this is the reason you cannot route over it. It therefore looks like it has been incorrectly marked as a Private Road in the map data.
