Can anyone tell me who I should contact to get our address recognised by sat navs?
Our's and 4 other houses were built on a plot of land at the bottom of a road. The stupid post office then decided to give us the numbers 1-5 C***** C***** and gave us the same postcode as the numbers 1-5 M***** G***** further up the road. We've lived here 30 years now and still have trouble with delivery people putting the postcode into sat navs and not being able to find us, or delivering to the other number 1.
Any ideas how I can get us put on the map???

Hi there Lesley,
The street addressing software goes belly-up when trying to deal with sub-divided properties, I'm afraid. The current solution (which won't work for a new-to-site navigator who searches by address) is to take a waypoint at the entrance to the sub-divided property and publish that anywhere you can in your documentation - be that Orders for Delivery, website, e-mails, letterheads and anything else you can think of.
