is UK part of Europe map as detailed as UK only map?

Can anyone tell me if the UK part of the Western Europe or Europe map is as detailed at the UK & Ireland ONLY map? or do I need both, as was originally supplied on my Via Live?

Id of thought the detail would be the same as its just the indervidual countires stictchd together into one big and complete file
