Re: help

I'm not aware why streets would be missing from a map. You can report all feedback to the TomTom Support Team so they will send it to the correct department to provide a solution.

Re: help

its not a street, its a bridge called the clyde arc that crosses the river clyde in glasgow, its so well known.would it be a download issue, iv done everything correctly as far as i believe.even when i view a route demo the destination of where i want to go is on the other side of the bridge at the glasgow secc, the route tt takes me is past the bridge that tt denies is there and into glasgow city centre and then back along the clydeside to the excebition centre, im baffled by this and i think iv wasted 40 bangers.

Hi Gazza,

It's possible you downloaded the new map yet you are still looking at the old map data.

Can you check for us that you are using version 8.75? You can check map version by doing the following:

  1. In the Driving View, tap the bottom right corner.

    Image
  2. The version of your application is shown on the right hand side of the route summary screen.
To view the version of your map, tap the field that shows the application version.

    Image
  3. The version of your map is shown under Map.

The map shown above is listed as version 7.10 in our map shop.

If this shows another number other than 8.75, it's possible that you still have the old data on your device's memory. To resolve this, you would need to switch the map. To do this, please do the following:

  1. From the Main Menu, tap Change Preferences
  2. Tap Manage maps.
  3. Tap Switch map.  (The map your device is currently using is highlighted.)
  4. Tap on the map that you want to use.

It does show on our online route planner that we have the bridge, so hopefully the above steps resolve the issue. If not, please let us know.

Thanks,

Zoe
