Hi,
I've got Start25 device with Europe map installed, map version 875.3611 (7/2011)
I've bought Actualization service for 1 year + 6 month free, now it's enabled till 26-09-2013.
But myTomTom didn't update my map to actual version 885. What should I do to make it happen?
Thanks.

I did everything I read on this forum — I cleared cache in MyTomTom and in Google Chrome, I did softreset (15 sec on power button) for my device. It didn't help.
MyTomTom can see my device without any problem, it connects to device, it retrieves information from it (and shows that my Europe map has 875 version).
When I bought map update service, I haven't received any Activation code and have no idea where to take it (in case it's necessary at all).
Do you want to get my device serial number and purchase order number, or you can see it from my login name?
Thank you for your prompt reaction.

Unfortunately I can't check these details for you, I am not a TomTom employee, just a user like you ![]()
There is no activation code for the map update service. Call CS and they can activate it manually for you. Get the proof of purchase handy.

I wonder who else is experiencing similar issues...
Im having identical problems with my VIA LIVE 125.
Any advice for me? or do I also have to wait until TomTom can be bothered to pay for programmers to rectify it?
Is this the sort of service you should expect for a paid-for additional service from TomTom?
Not impressed.

Not sure if TT has issues with the map update and Via. They had it earlier. Maybe Lars will have some intel.

Same exact problem on My Start 20 device.
bought maps today, I'm going for a 2000km trip on tuesday and I am not sure I'm gonna have updated maps, which I just paid good money for.
support history for start devices hasn't been exactly flawless untill now... is this the way tomtom has planned to get customers who buy (relatively) cheap models to upgrade to high end products?
