I agree. TomTom is falsely advertising on the boxes of the units. I am going to call my local News. We need to get them to quit putting that on there packaging. It is very misleading!

You phone customer support and provide them the code in the box if you have a model with lifetime maps. And you get them.

Well, first thing I see that you have so much time to expend fixing the problems that your GPS has. Secons, when I am buying a device I hope I am not buying something that makes me loss my time. So it is all about.
Anyway, thanks for your suggestion about calling support and for your bias comment. Please remember at the end, the client always has the reason

So, even though I registered the product, jumped through all the hoops, I have to hold onto the receipt for the rest of the life of thise device to get the life-time maps clearly plastered all over the box.
