Re: It is quicker to go to the near store and buy an NDRIVE

It really depends on what device you have, and how you done the purchase. If it is a NAV3 device and bought the map with the CORRECT account online, it supposed to download almost immediately. If you have a NAV2 and bought it via the TomTom HOME, it supposed to download automatically, almost immediately. In any other combination, or in case of a server issue, it might not download or can be delayed.

Thank you for yout reply. I am a programmer, I have done many sites, and software. I can surely say this buying gateway has serious issues. Nowadays the simple thing we can do in development is payment gateways, the infrastructures are already bult and we only have to connect the "wires". So digital products (like this one) should be downloaded immediatly. By the way, I bought the map via Tom Tom home. ANOTHER FAILURE ... It is a menu nightmare, for instance everytime you choose to had a point of intereset we can only choose one at a time ... so you have to do the processo all over again just to choose the next one, full of other bugs that should have been reported by the SW certification team.

I am downloading the map now. Another unreported bug. It seems you have to shutdown Tom Tom Home and login again to be able to receive the map update. If is an expected procedure would help being in Order FAQ.

Lets see what comes next
