Hi,
please access your device's preferences menu and flip through the pages until you get an option called something like change maps. There you should be able to select your new map. Activate that new map and after reaching SA you'll be able to navigate with that map. You'll always only be able to navigate on that map that is active and if you're in a country being covered by that map.
