Let me echo the request you replied to a week ago. I'd like a map of Costa RIca also to download to my TomTom 920. I am disappointed to read that you do not offer one.

I rented a car in Costa RIca and had to rent a Garmin from the auto rental agency that had a nice and detailed map of Costa Rica. It would have been nice to use my TomTom for that purpose and I definitely would have purchased a map from your company had I known. For what it's worth, the Garmin GPS's map also had cultural and tourist highlights on it with audio recordings. So, when passing through a town with an historic site, the Garmin would make note of the site and a voice would describe the importance of it. It was almost having a tour guide in the car with mke. Last I checked, about 7 or 8 years ago Garmin had bought TomTom. Assuming the two are really one company, there's no excuse not having a map of Costa Rica or any country for Tom Tom that exists for Garmin.

Let me add my request too for Costa Rica maps. I have had to rent a Garmin GPS unit every time I've been there. It would be far more convenient if I could use my TomTom.

I agree with the above posters. We are going to Costa Rica and would like detailed GPS maps. Are you indicaing I made an unwise decision buying a TomTom? I.e. no Costa Rica? This is a popular destination, I would think TomTom would cover this area. WAre there any other popular destinations that TomTom does not cover???
