copy map to internal memory

Hello,

 

I have a Tomtom one XL and a brand new mac book pro

 

Recently I purchased a map of USA and the download was successful but now I can’t copy it to the internal memory, it’s been more than 12 hours and no success.

 

To leave enough space in my device I copied the Europe map I had into my computer and now I have both maps in my computer and none in the tomtom.

 

This has already cost me a lot of money, first because I bought the map and then because I had to hire a GPS in the car rental company because mine didn’t work, I need a solution

Does it have an SD slot? What is the size of the internal storage and the maps?
