Updating USA maps on SD card

Hello! Bought the SD card version of the USA & Canada maps a while ago and I was wondering if it is possible to update the map. I use it with my trusty old ONE XL as I like the SD feature. Not sure of the version though it was purchased around 2010. Thanks in advance for any help!

It is possible to update, but the question is, what is the size of your memory card, and what is the size of the map that you wish to download.
