Map installation

Hello,

A frien of me has lended his GPS.

My friend has is own user at www.tomtom.com

I went to the www.tomtom.com and bought a new map, I've created a new user for me at www.tomtom.com

I've received an e-mail with Payment confirmation & usage instructions

However when I follow the instrutions anda can't understand how can I download and install the map on my GPS's friend.

Is there any problem if a GPS is registered with an user and buying a map with another user?

I have urgency ont his because I'm going to travel in a few days

Did YOU purchase the new map using tomtom.com and logging in with the email/address you created for the unit? Did you try to 'update my unit' and see no map offered? How about 'Add voices/maps'??

Hello,

I've managed to install the map's.

In TomTom Home I was log with a user that was differente from the user that I used to bought the map.

After using the correct user everything went fine.
