Have tried links from ditte and kenneth which appear to be the correct procedures, but did not work.
Need map for tomorrow. Have a 1EX00 which had more than double the memory taken up by the relevant map.
Have tried to follow instructions, although the extract feature was not available until I got to the activate file.
The map was not labelled .zip either.
Have got everything backed up.
Computer shows that the file is on my TomTom, but not being offered German destination option.
Other map i forked out appears to have gone on to the satnav as it now accepts that there is a bypass around Bedford.Will struggle without it driving in dark tomorrow.
Gutted at lack of support from TomTom.
