Did you get a confirmation email of the map purchase?
Sometimes takes a few hours from the time a purchase is made till the map appears on the servers for Update my Unit.

I am not getting my map update. It is not allowing me to choose a zone on the Western Europe map so my XL2 does not have enough space for the whole map. Please fix.

Perhaps this is same problem that I thought I had.
I purchased the Western Europe map for my One 3rd Edition. I was informed by the Update app that it would not fit, but be offered Zones. But, I did not see any Zones offered.
Turns out I just had to keep hitting the Continue Button, until I was offered 3 Zones to choose from.

Hi
I recently bought Eastern European maps which downloaded ok and the installation process to my tom tom seemed to work ok.
However, when I actually go to use my device, I can't seem to access these maps, it only allows me to view my existing UK and Ireland maps. Anyone have any suggestions?

Got an e mail saying updates available for my 550-xxl.
Using the update icon I downloaded maps, etc. At the end download my screen "sez maps won't run on my device". Now I can't do anything .

I got an email a couple of weeks ago advising that a new map was avaible for download. Connected my device, it did some update but not the map. Restarted the TomTom and tried again, now it tells me it is up to date.
I go to 'Manage Content' and it shows me that v8.85 is stored on my device and v8,90 is stored in my account, I click the Install button but all that happens is that the 2 mao versions swap postitions on the screen. I have tried on 2 different computers with 3 different web browsers, I have disabled firewall etc.
Device = TomTom Via
Free Space = 3110.7mb on device
This new MyTomTom is rubbish compared to TomTom Home

Also having troubles to download the v8.90 map. I have an active subscription, and map v.8.85 is on my Go Live 1000. When I check for updates TomTom says that my device is uptodate. but when I check my account it shows me 8.90 available for download, but it doesn't install. It switch from position in the list and that's it. Nothing happens

I have a VIA 1405, all updated but new map is available in manage content. When you try to swap with the earlier map they just swap position in the list. Tried on different computers also, so looks like MyTomTom strikes again!
