Lost Favourites and recent destinations after a map update

Always when I update to a new version of my map (Western Europe) I lose my Favourites and recent destinations.

Can I somway make a backup of these and reinstall them after the update?

Old device: Save the file called mapsettings.cfg from the device.

New device: MyTomTom application, Add Community Content, save it from there.
