I have been trying to buy a map of Western Europe for my GO630. I recently changed my email address and updated my account. I have my new account and yet, when I move past "buy" I get an "internal processing error" message. I have said yes to submitting the anonymous data but still cannot get the download, whether or not I have my device connected. I am using Windows 7 64-bit machine as my PC. I have updated the TomTom software. I am leaving for Europe in 1 week and wanted desparately the maps for travel. Any work around? I have an 8GB SD card installed, so lots of memory. I want to keep my North America of course.
I have tried multiple purchase pathways one giving an error message to be supplied following, the other kicking me out of my sign in and asking for a logon and password under security page. When entering my logon and password, I get the message:
Something went wrong:

Canadians attempting purchases from TomTom have a rough time as the payment servers are in The Netherlands and often reject the card meant for payment.
That said, your issue appears to be somewhat different.
So, call CS at 866-486-6866 and have them stay on the phone while you work through all the required screens, including the submission of a credit card for payment.

Is the phone number available 24/7?
When I was travelling in the Netherlands, I had a lot of trouble with my credit card acceptance, so I am not surprised. This is a little known fact that Canadians probably need to know.

It is not available 24/7. When you travel abroad, you should notify your cc company in advance to accept charges in country so and so.

Same issue here when I go to "checkout" my purchase.
Logged a support request with TomTom days ago. Aside from an inital half hearted response, I've heard nothing since.
Going to take by business to Garmin if I don't get a positive outcome shortly. It seems that Tom Tom don't want my business or my money.

I get the same internal error message. It says it is solved but when I click on the Go To Solution it just goes down the page to other people with the same problem. No solution.
Doesn't TOM TOM want my money!!!!

I've been having this problem (same error message) for a week now. And the price of the maps I wanted to buy (North America) just rose from 40$ to 60$. Tomtom sucks!

Tried this again after almost a year and the problem is still there. Grrrrrr!

12Jul2012, just bought a new GO 2535 and am running into this same internal server error. And this is only to try to download 2 free voices. I can't get past the first submit.
When I was on the phone wih support, she said that this would start to work after the map update was finished.
It has not!
I can't do anything without this error now. I don't even get to an area to enter any credit card info (which I won't need anyway).
So looking on here, it's clear that TomTom has a serious problem and either do not know how to fix it or just do not care.
I like the device, but if I can't add/remove unused items and if this error isn't fixed, I'll return it and buy a Garmin.
