Change of email address?

The account I use to log in to TT is no longer valid, so how do I change the email address on my account?

Go to www.tomtom.com and log into your account under the old email address.

 

Then go to account settings and change the email address there.

 

If you have LIVE or PLUS services, then afterwards you'll need to also change your account on the Tomtom device to the new email, by going to MyTomtom Account in the device's settings menu.

He could not do that, that was the problem, i think?

i'm having issues too, g.mail is not a valid format it would appear.

It's the same for me. I've trying different email addresses, all of them are "invalid format".

 

What can I do?

aaa@bbb.com is the proper format.

 

You can have periods within the prefix but not the suffix so TomTom will accept a.aa@bbb.com but not aaa@b.bb.com

xxxx@yahoo.co.uk is an invalid email address...?  I think thousands of yahoo & hotmail users would disagree

 

 

someone in TomTom has got this badly wrong...

xxxx@yyyy.co.uk certainly IS a valid format!  Why not check up instead of simply saying "I dont't think it's valid"
