You reset your device by holding the power button about 10 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.
Also, under the 'connections' link on your device, what information is showing (or not showing) in the screen?

yes did the res et does not work.
in the connection it shows no connection. I have contated TT and it looks like i will need a software update or a reset TT's end to make it work.
I am charging the device, it also does not seem to hld much of charge, they go flat really quickly.

Yes, they can reset the LIVE account at their end. Pursue that with them.
And I agree, a flat or weak battery will have a negative effect on trying to grab the LIVE signal.

Have you been travelling around or remained in one place? Sometimes there can be a problem with the mobile mast covering your location.

I had same problem last weekend and posted here:
In a nutshell you'll have to get 2nd line support to re embed your live services on your account. Once done you'll be back up and running with live services in no time.
