I purchased a Via LIve 120 in December and it worked well , until an update removed the safety Cameras feature, having spoke to TOM TOM Support they advised me an update was being issued to correct this problem.
Now 3 weeks later still waiting....... can anybody help as I have a good tom tom but no safety camera feature, or should I just return it a buy a garmin:

I have the same issue with safety cameras. Initial level support was good, but they were unable to fix the issue. They escalated the problem but now nobody is responding to my questions online - 4 days waiting so far.

but it would it not be easier for tom tom just to announce there is a issue we can or can't fix it.....honesty would be good.
Talk to the guys at Halfords and they can list problems with any make and they will state has that issue not been resolved?
Come on Tom Tom if you read these message boards, all people want is an answer or are you happy to loose customers ?

I am also waiting for a fix - the support from TomTom on this issue has been rubbish!! I keep requesting an update but they just do not reply.
If this issue is so difficult to cure, maybe we should all return the units for replacement

I've asked TomTom to re-set my Live Services subscription once they fix this. They've sold us a device that isn't yet capable of giving all the services they say on the packet.
Meantime I've followed the advice twice to do a factory reset (which delete all favorites and user preferred settings). It still says I need to sign up to speed cameras and then when I look on the web site my account says I have them!
Come on TomTom - fix it!
