Live services expired and TomTom 940 running slow, constantly 'hangs' and reboots

Live services have expired and I have decided not to renew

My Go Live 940 since expiry has run slow and constantly reboots, nearly resulting it being ejected from the car !

I have carried out a factory reset and stopped any sharing options, I understand that this disables the SIM card

 

The machine has worked perfectly since carrying out the reset
