Live services down AGAIN

[ Edited ]

I have a Carminat Tomtom Live. Paid for an extra year Live Services. Second time No Live Services. Went to Menu System Menu > Live Services > My Tomtom account and then it even din't ask me if I have an account, but immediately returned a red screen. Probably no coverage (sure:  a full day between Gent and Antwerp??) it said. Or: I should PAY AGAIN.

Sure I rebooted again following the instructions somewhere on the site.

Hi Jcolpaert,

I don't have any information about a LIVE service outage in Belgium so I suggest you take contact to support on this number:

078250156

Maandag t/m vrijdag van 09.00 tot 18.30 CET

They will be able to help you with your Carminat LIVE device.

Thank you,

Ditte

Re: Live services down AGAIN

It's probably due to this stupid user, but since a couple of weeks, the website is filled with bugs. Trying to change the country coude to Belgian Dutch, it arrived in an endless loop of updates (just for your information why I ended up in the English part).

Last year, I had the traffic + flash alerts module, and all worked nearly fine (each time the mobile flash alert contained something, the application was frozen).

Last month, my traffic info had reached its end, so I looked for the same combination of services, did not find. I bought the traffic services, and ever since last week, the app shows no jams in Belgium traveling from Lovendegem to Evere, although it takes my performant car to do nearly 2 hours to do the 80 km, of which nearly 70 is over the highway. I'm not complaining, but would like to get the same info as available on the website.

Also this page is jumping up and down, so seems not stable.

Re: Live services down AGAIN

I have a Live 1535 Brand New. The unit comes with a free year of "Live Services". I am able to log in, however, when I do it says that Live Services are not available and when you attepmt to use any of the apps, it tells you that your service is expired.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with Live Services?

Re: Live services down AGAIN

Try a drum set on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. If that doesn't help, you'll need to call CS at 1-866-486-6866.
