looks like mine has to be sent back, live services subscription was ony 2-3 months in. and they didnt even know much about the error let alone being able to fix it remotely. tomtom go 750 and it had the sim error message and error code 10

i have the go940 live and when select google it flashes up please contact support there is something wrong with your sim card . ive deleted my phone ive done soft reset and factory reset nothing works .

If you are talking about Go Live 740 then you have to return it to Tom Tom who are replacing it with a refurbished model, according to tom tom this fault cannot be fixed, i have had many problems over the years with live traffic( especially when i need it), so there seems to be no fix for this, so you can do soft resets and all you want and spend hours doing it like i did, just contact tom tom who will ask you to return it....

I was told my SIM Card is damaged and this is why i can not connect to Live service, even though was working fine before update. They want £90 to fix, I will not be buying TomTom again.

This message does occur in UK - I have got it. The web site is useless - it says 'contact' but there is no way to contact as it simply gets you to a FAQS pages which have no answer - there appears no way to send an email message or a support request without agreeing to pay. I bought the Live Services only a couple of days ago so I probably need to return the software as not fit for purpose.
