@maxal: Try to give a call in this case to CS.

Well Done Tom Tom!!!  my device live services are back on line the software update did the trick.

Hi I bought it 20th April last year from Comet in Bolton (I live in the Isle of Man) so it should be I think.

What is RMA and how do I go about getting it done.?

Best to check with Comet. I think only in the first 28 days they deal with it, from there onwards until 20/04/12 should be TT directly. They supposed to give you an RMA and arrange for collection (at least that's how I had my repair on a previous unit).
