Hi All

Newbie to TOM Tom

Bought a GO LIVE 1000 from Currys on the 19th of March but wothout a charging cable

Didnt get my charging cable until the 2nd April and have been using the device since

only just connected it to MyTom Tom

wHAT i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS THAT WHEN DOES MY YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION TO THE LIVE SERVICES ACTIVATE?

IS IT FROM WHEN I CONNECT AND REGISTER IT ON MY TOM TOM OR FROM WHEN I BOUGHT IT OR FROM WHEN I FIRST USED IT 

WHEN I GO INTO MY SERVICES IT IS SHOWING A DATE OF 3/10/2012 FOR RENEWAL

NOTSURE WHETHER THE DATE IS SET UP IN AN AMERICAN WAY OR NOT

Any help would be appreciated

Was it an ex-display piece? All the TTs are coming with charger. I would rather return it to Currys and get them to replace it. The LIVE services would start from the registration.

IT WASNT AN EX DISPLAY MODEL I GUESS END OF LINE , GOT IT FOR JUST OVER A HUNDRED POUNDS ( A BARGAIN FOR GO LIVE 1000). ONLY PROBLEM WAS IT DID NOT HAVE A CHARGING LEAD WHICH I MANAGED TO PICK UP FOR ABOUT EIGHT POUNDS

SO AM IRIGHT IN UNDERSTANDING THAT THE LIVE SERVICES ACTIVATE FROM TODAY AS I ONLY REGISTERED IT TODAY?

Supposed to start today. Either give a call to CS to correct the date or return and exchange it.
