Not working for me.
After a reset I'm still located at a 100 meters from my home.
There is no ephem folder on my TT.
Removing the GPSfix didn't do the job.
Any more solutions?

I hate Tomtom today... I was not able to find my destination due to their incompetence. I thought that my Tomtom 720 was broken and now I see that it was their fault by releasing a buggy update.

Just noticed an update to QuickGPSfix version 1341604368 that has fixed the issue for me.

2 hours ago I just updated my TomTom again to apply a new quick gps fix and map update, just updated as normal, took the car out for an 8 mile drive, every thing worked fine!
Sat nav was in the correct place at the correct time, never jumped off the road or had me in a field.
I never did a reset, nor did I remove the sd card (dont have one).
I`m running a 520.
Happy camper again ![]()

Same here. Connected to Home and there was a new Quickgpsfix [that was not there 5 hours ago]. downloaded it [and nothing else], my 530 is now back to normal.

Yesterday, I was pleased to report that the fixes suggested here worked well.
I have just switched my GO720 on and have again got a discrepancy of some 200 metres.
I tried to install the latest quickfix ( 1341611205), which seemed to correct the situation after a reset.
When I tried again an hour later it was wrong again.
Clearly things are changing constantly, so I shall wait until TomTom issue a definitive solution.
Hope it is fixed by next week when I go on holiday driving to France!

This issue has caused major issues for me. I am travelling and am totally dependant on my GO720. I hope a fix is issued in the next few hours.
Heading out to try QuickFix version 1341625200
