Hi my device will not go past the TomTom screen I have to reset it to switch it off, I've removed the applications and done all the updates still no joy also I've noticed that I only have Canary Islands in the maps no others please help me

Make a manual backup via Explorer. Save all the files from your unit, inc. the hidden files. Go to Manage my GO in TT HOME, delete everything from the hard drive. Format the unit's internal storage, and try to update again.

thank you it now works but i have another problem I've got no maps please help me i need it working today

What folders do you have in your manual backup? The map should be there.

 hi I put on western europe and canary islands it stuck on start-up again I deleted just canary islands and it worked again but no maps found again, please help

Maybe the map files are corrupted. Delete them from the unit and give a call to CS to re-activate your map download.
