Hello Roger 65,
Did you removed the complete QuickGPSfix directory or only 1 specific file out of that directory?
Thx for your answer...

Arrrrrrgh Had the same problem.
My TomTom Go 930t was 60-100 m off its position in E direction.
Im on holyday and NEED my GPS so I had to buy a new. I bought a Garmin 1430. Grrrrrrrrrr a total waste of money ...I dont want my Garmin now where my 930 works again. I deleted the 3 files in the 930 directory, made a hard reset and now position is right again.
When I come Home I want a refond fromTomTom, they can have my Garmin which I cant return to the shop. Really a total waste of my money that TomTom sends such crappy gpsfix to its customers. THATS NOT OK.

Arrived in Portugal to find my 930 was showing the wrong position (approx 200m west), mangage to guess my route as it jumped around the wrong roads. For day 2 I setup TomTom on my iPhone and that was ok. I removed the QuickGPS fix from the 930 using TomTom Home and now it is reporting the correct location, not sure how I would have done this without a laptop - I tried resets but that didn't help.
Come on TomTom sort this out.

I have tried all these suggestions but cannot for the life of me get my tomtom 930 to show me where I actually am... It is about a mile and a half off from where I actually am. I went into tomtom home software removed gpsquickfix from both the device and the computer ... reset the tomtom via reset button on bottom and still have no correct position... WHAT DO I DO NOW??!!

Connect back to HOME and update with the latest quickgps fix file. Make sure NOT to hard reset your device after the download of this new file.
