I did cheat a bit managed to achieve by deleting all files and then copying from Windows backup made before the TT update. The Update seems to have found some bad sectors and that could have been the root cause of the problem.
I have a tom tom one that will not switch back on the battery was low so connected in car charger green light on tom tom but wont power up any ideas dave48
